Congratulations to CJ Batten who shot 278, 280, 258 during the Tuesday Boy's Night Out League at Bowl America Dranesville. The ball of choice was a Columbia Shadow/C....can you believe it?! CJ had a consistent and controllable reaction that allowed him to make very small moves and maintain a pretty nice area to te pocket that consistently carried. CJ has done alot of bowling as of late and it has shown in his performance. Great bowling CJ!!

Congratulations to CJ Batten, winner of the Lincoln Lanes "King of the Hill" Scratch Tournament held in Chambersburg, PA. CJ used a white XS and an Eight-Ball to make it through the qualifying and then through the stepladder matches defeating 4 opponents before capturing the title. Great Job CJ and welcome to the team.

Congratulations to Stephen Hahn who shot 300 during the Thursday Men & Women League at Bowl America Dranesville. The ball of choice was Banger's Hole Finder Solid. Stephen recently adjusted the surface on this ball sanding it up to 4000 abralon and then finishing it with Storm #3 to help smooth out his reaction further down the lane. Great bowling Stephen!!

Congratulations to Vito Figlioli who shot 278, 280, 300 for an unbelievable 858 Series. The ball of choice was again, Visionary's Ogre Pearl. There really isn't much we can say other than it's nice that our TOKEN LEFTY is doing the Bowl4Money.com Team proud. Vito is on a non-stop flight to Honor Score central, next stop -- will there be one or will his flight keep going? GREAT BOWLING V-TRAIN!

Congratulations to Vito Figlioli who shot 279, 258, 279 for an 816 Series. The ball of choice was again, Visionary's Ogre Pearl. Vito has been tearing up the lanes at Olathe East, scoring his 5th Honor Score in just under a month bringing his current score onslaught of the pins up to 2-300's, 2-800's, and a 299 game. Great bowling Vito!!

Congratulations to Derek Petty who finished 3rd in the Triple Threat Scrath Tournament at Greenway Lanes in Odenton, MD. Derek was throwing a combination of his Big Time and V2 as he made his way through a tough condition qualifying 2nd overall. Derek bowled well all day and unfortunately lost a very close match to finish 3rd for the tournament. Derek has been slowly getting back into bowling after recently purchasing a new house. The team looks forward to this upcoming Ebonite Staffer as we move into the 2008 Calendar year. Great bowling Derek, keep it going!

As was stated earlier, Vito Figlioli has continued his decimation of the lanes at Olathe East. This time Vito threw a 299 using a Visionary Immortal Pearl, which was sandwiched between a 270 and a 227 to shoot his 4th Honor Score this month and not to mention nearly breaking the 800 (796) barrier yet again.

Congratulations to Vito Figlioli who shot 300/804 in his Tuesday Night League at Olathe East Lanes, in Olathe, Kansas. Vito shot his game/set with Visionary's Ogre Pearl, this coming only a couple weeks after he shot a 300 in a local tournament. Vito seems to have caught fire as of late, and with his ability and the, less than difficult condition at Olathe East, this could be the start of more to come.

Congratulations to Stephen Hahn who finished 4th in Chuck Tillman's Scratch Tournament held at ForestHill Lanes in Maryland. Stephen used his Hole Finder Pearl and Hole Pounder Pearl deep inside to combat a 41 foot blended pattern which seemed to allow various angles of play on both sides of the lane. The turning point in this tournament was when Stephen switched from the Finder to the Pounder Pearl and went +70 over for the last 2 games, missing the stepladder cut by 3 pins, but again, earning another cash spot.

Stephen Hahn finshed 7th in a Red Eye tournament up in Baltimore which provided one of the most even patterns he's bowled on to date. Both sides of the lanes were tough as bowlers experienced what it was like to not have a bump to the right (or left) when they pitched the ball out. Stephen used his Hole Pounder Pearl and SS Ogre to combat the tight conditions and secure himself another cash spot.

Congratulations to Stephen Hahn who won the Northside Lanes Scratch Tournament. Stephen qualified 4th and worked his way through the stepladder finals to capture the title. Stephen has contributed 3 cashes, including this victory, in the last 4 tournaments he's competed in as the leader of Bowl4Money.com. We look forward to his continued success as well as the rest of the members.

Congratulations to Vito Figlioli who shot 300 during the 9th Annual Joe Tomsu Memorial Over/Under Scratch Doubles Tournament. Vito has been on a tear since returning to Kansas a year ago as he's been averaging a composite of 225+ in two leagues, along with multiple cashes in various tournaments including his latest. Vito also is the director for the Kansas born Bowl4Money.com Scratch Tournament. Great bowling Vito and we look forward to your upcoming accomplishments. |
